It is MCS vision to provide proactive quality employment services to all job seekers, assist individuals with multiple barriers secure employment and aid entrepreneurs grow and develop their businesses in order to facilitate workforce success.
Career Assessment services are designed to assist individuals in the career decision making process and in developing a plan for accomplishing individual career goals. The process utilized includes examining an individuals’; personality temperament; stated versus tested interest(s), and individual learning style(s); and previous experiences ( work, social, hobbies, etc.). Once examined, individual results are then matched to various careers in which the participant would most likely succeed. Assessment results with proper interpretation, empowers students to make informed choices and decisions based on their self-awareness and self-knowledge.
To support business growth, entrepreneurial expansion and individual advancement by providing the tools, training and resources needed to sustain a highly skilled workforce.
The GAIN Program helps communities in the Los Angeles area build economic self-sufficiency through gainful employment. The LACOE GAIN Division is part of a large-scale, welfare-to-work initiative called Greater Avenues for Independence that operates in every county in California. In Los Angeles County, the initiative is under the supervision of the Department of Public Social Services.
VVSD has served all veterans since 1981 and is dedicated to “Leave No One Behind.” With five locations throughout San Diego County, VVSD is the only program of its kind in the United States and is nationally recognized as the leader in serving homeless military veterans. Each year VVSD provides services to more than 2,000 military veterans throughout the County of San Diego.
A 501(c)3 non-profit organization created by a group of dedicated veterans to empower other veterans, members of the military, and their families by providing needed support and resources. We are an umbrella association that represents more than 30 veteran organizations spanning all branches of military service (including reserve personnel) and encompassing all generations, from active duty through retirees. Our mission is to serve as a one-stop resource center for all veterans and military, centralizing the services of diverse agencies to assist them with jobs, education, finances, health and wellness, and family issues.
Serves employers and job seekers in the San Gabriel Valley, by making investments in workplace skills development and job-specific training to help workers gain skills or obtain education and credentials that employers value. In turn, we build relationships with businesses to understand their hiring needs and match qualified workers. We maintain close relationships with schools and colleges to communicate the skills that are needed in the labor market. Ultimately, we support the economy in our region by making sure businesses have access to qualified, employable talent and are able to compete successfully.
